WHAT ARE OPEN PORES?
The skin contains multiple pores, even if not visible, all pores are open in order to allow them to breath. Pores contain a hair follicle, and sebaceous glands that produce Sebum, also known as oil.
Open pores are usually found on the face, T Zone, and cheeks. Some people have enlarged pores which can be caused by a number of factors, for instance, oily skin, ageing, and genetics.
The correct and most effective treatment depends on identifying the underlying cause. This requires a full assessment of the problem including health and lifestyle factors. The team at Le Sands Clinic are skilled in the assessment and management of open pores. Allow us to design an individualised programme to help you achieve your goal of clear skin and into the future.
